This unique book arranges the entire Bible into easily-digestible readings for every day of the year. It includes a time chart and Bible maps to help you appreciate the flow of biblical history. Other useful lists help explain the background to the Bible. The translation used is the New International Version (NIV) - the world's most popular Bible. It uses 'anglicised' text: British spelling, grammar and punctuation that allow the Bible to be read more fluently and accurately. Its duo tone leatherlook cover with silver edged pages would make this a very acceptable present for all occasions.
