In 1911 global mission leaders met in Edinburgh, Scotland, to confront a church lacking vitality and effectiveness. Andrew Murray responded with this urgent call to repentance and prayer, which helped incite one of the most fruitful missionary movements in church history. This contemporized edition of The State of the Church speaks vividly to believers today.
